The Mile High City is a great place to visit with a thriving vegan community. From Nooch, Denver's all vegan grocery store to Watercourse, one of the best vegan restaurants in the country, there is plenty for vegans to eat and do.

Watercourse had the best vegan food in Denver. We arrived early for brunch (which is served all day!) so we didn't have to deal with reservations or the long waits that are all over Yelp. It's a beautiful restaurant that vegans and meat eaters alike would be comfortable eating in so I can see why there could be a wait there every night of the week. Here are the favorites from our table! Everything was delicious!
BANANA BREAD FRENCH TOAST
House-made banana bread topped with walnuts & bananas.
BISCUITS & GRAVY
House-made biscuits smothered with breakfast gravy
CHORIZO HASH
A hash of chorizo, black beans, sweet potato waffle fries, scrambled tofu, & caramelized onions. Smothered with green chili, sour cream and avocado crème & topped with crispy tortilla crumbles.
WATERCOURSE SLAM
Barley sausage patty, scrambled tofu, tofu bacon, homefriesCINNAMON BUN

City O' City is the hippest place to get vegan food in Denver. This bohemian restaurant is open for breakfast and open late. The walls are covered with dark twisted art but the place still manages to feel inviting. City O' City is a vegetarian restaurant so make sure to ask for your meal VEGAN! This is the food we delighted in at City O' City!
MAC & CHEESE
With grilled broccoli and vegan cheese
EL JEFE
Burger with cheddar, sauteed mushrooms, onion rings, and hot-sauce aioli

Sputnik is a "regular" but cool restaurant and bar. The thing that really makes this place special is it's vegan menu. The menu isn't huge but it has some really quality items that are worth trying! Here is what we tried.
BREAKFAST BURRITO
Tofu, pinto beans, home fries, pico de gallo, green chili
MAC & CHEESE

BeetBox Bakery was a great find. It's a really cute and cozy bakery and I could see myself enjoying a cupcake there while working on the site. I'm sorry, I can't remember what flavors we got but the pictures alone should entice you to check it out!
