The quality of the vegan options in Berkeley is top notch. Being a college town, the veg options will only continue to grow along with the student population. Also, Berkeley is home to the bay area's all vegan store, which supports Animal Place. There are a lot of places to see and places to eat (my favorite) in Berkeley so see my recommendations below and get over there!

I don't know why more people don't know about Cinnaholic. It's amazing. An all vegan, build your own cinnamon bun place. It's in the heart of Berkeley, right off of the UC Berkeley campus.
The options here are endless. They usually have several specials in case the long list of frostings and toppings is too overwhelming for you.
I'm dying for a reason to get there cinnamon bun cakes that they make and post pictures of on Instagram. They look drool worthy.
This is a GREAT place to take people who are non believers regarding yummy vegan food. Cinnaholic will make them believers.
