My Vegan Thanksgiving

As usual, my husband and I spent our Thanksgiving holiday in Las Vegas. In the weeks leading up to our trip, I scour the internet to see what new vegan options Las Vegas has introduced since our last visit. The places we try make their way onto the Las Vegas post here on the blog. We usually make our Thanksgiving dinner a few days before we depart for our stay in Vegas as we have not been able to find a acceptable vegan Thanksgiving dinner in Las Vegas. This year, we were so lucky and fortunate to discover Violette's Vegan, which made all of our Thanksgiving dinner dreams come true.

Violette's Thanksgiving menu was amazing. It was a set menu for $30 per person. For this you got your choice of soup, salad, main course and dessert.

For our soup we chose the corn chowder and it was great. The perfect way to start off this insane amount of food. We were also served a small simple salad before these huge plates of glorious food arrived to our table.

The main course of this Thanksgiving feast included:

Mashed potatoes and gray
Yams
Biscuit (or corn bread)
Green beans
Meatballs (or spicy cauliflower bites)
Tofu turkey
Stuffing
Cranberry sauce

For dessert, I of course chose my favorite, pumpkin pie. Although, you could choose from several others such as apple pie and carrot cake.

Umm. I don't really know where to start describing this meal. It was simply delicious. EVERYTHING was good!

The restaurant was packed with people and I was so happy to be able to take part in a vegan Thanksgiving at Violette's Vegan.

Next time you're in Vegas make sure you pay them a visit!
